Terms of service

These terms explain how we work together. Your written project agreement sets out the details of your engagement, including the work, fee and delivery dates.

Starting a project

An enquiry starts a conversation. We will discuss what you need, the information available and the output you want to use. Before work begins, we agree the scope, quotation and timetable in writing. The project agreement identifies the parties and the terms that apply to that work.

The agreed work

Your agreement sets out the question, approach, deliverables, responsibilities and review points. We plan the work around that brief. If new information changes the approach, we will discuss the effect on the output, timing and fee before proceeding.

Information and feedback

Please give us the context needed to understand your question and tell us about any deadline or confidentiality requirement. Share material you are authorised to provide. We may ask you to check factual details or give feedback at agreed stages. We will let you know if delayed inputs affect the timetable.

Fees and payment

The quotation explains the fee, payment schedule and any agreed expenses. Payment is due on the dates in the project agreement. Additional work or paid sources are discussed and agreed before they are added to the project.

Changes, pauses and cancellation

Either party can raise a change or ask to pause the work. We will confirm the revised plan and any effect on the fee or delivery date in writing. If an engagement ends early, we will review the work completed, costs already agreed and payments made, then confirm the amount due or any refund in line with the project agreement and applicable law.

Delivery and review

We deliver the agreed materials in the agreed format and allow for the review process described in your project agreement. Please tell us promptly if something needs correcting or does not match the brief so we can address it.

Using the findings

Our work explains the evidence, assumptions and reasoning behind the findings. The report should be read with its stated context and reference period. You remain responsible for the decisions you make using it. If you plan to publish, share or adapt a deliverable, tell us at the start so we can agree the right format, attribution and permissions.

Ownership and permissions

The project agreement explains ownership or licensing of the final work and any editable files included in the handover. Material supplied by you remains subject to your existing rights. Published sources, software and other materials owned by others remain subject to their own terms. We will agree any use of your work in our portfolio separately.

Confidentiality

We handle project information for the agreed purpose and arrange access and transfer with you. Please tell us about any specific confidentiality commitments before sharing material. Further details are set out in our privacy policy and the project agreement.

Questions or concerns

If you have a concern about the work, contact admin@sagedesigns.co.ke. We will discuss it with you and try to resolve it promptly. Your project agreement may set out further steps for resolving a dispute. These terms do not remove rights you have under applicable law.
