Privacy policy

When you contact us, you trust us with information about you and your work. This policy explains how we use it and how to reach us with a question.

Who we are

Sage Advisory provides research and business advisory services in Kenya. We use shared Sage business contact channels with Sage Design Lab. You can contact us at admin@sagedesigns.co.ke about this policy or your information.

Information you choose to share

An enquiry may include your name or organisation, contact details, research question, preferred approach and timeframe. You can also tell us how you intend to use the findings and what information you already have. If we work together, we may hold the project documents, correspondence and payment records needed for the engagement.

How the website brief works

The six questions help you prepare a message in your browser. Your answers stay in the current page until you open an email or WhatsApp link. The website does not submit the brief to an online inbox or database. Your browser may remember form entries according to its own settings.

Opening a messaging app places the prepared text in that app. Check it and press Send there when you are ready. Your email or messaging provider handles the message under its own privacy terms.

Why we use your information

We use enquiry details to answer your question, discuss a suitable scope and prepare a quotation. For an agreed project, we use the information needed to carry out the work, keep you informed and maintain the relevant business records. Depending on the purpose, this supports your request for a service, our agreement with you, our business administration or a legal obligation. We ask for consent where the law requires it.

Project documents and confidentiality

For the first conversation, a short description is enough. Before you send detailed records, we will agree a suitable transfer method and how the material will be used. We treat information supplied for an engagement as confidential and limit access to the people and service providers who need it for the agreed work.

We agree any use of client material in a public example separately. We also agree suitable handling arrangements before using confidential material with an external research or AI tool.

Providers and website operation

Hosting, email, messaging and other providers help us run the website and handle enquiries. Hosting systems may process connection details such as your IP address, the pages requested and security logs. A private preview may also use the host’s sign-in service.

We have not added advertising trackers or a marketing analytics service to this website. Fonts, images and the homepage film are served with the site. Where a provider handles information outside Kenya, the applicable arrangements must support the safeguards required by Kenyan data protection law.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as it is needed to respond to the enquiry, complete the agreed work and meet the relevant record-keeping obligations. Project-specific retention and return or deletion arrangements can be included in the engagement agreement. You can ask us about the information we still hold and request deletion where applicable.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access or correct your personal information, raise an objection to its use, or request deletion where the law provides for it. If processing depends on your consent, you can withdraw that consent. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

Email admin@sagedesigns.co.ke so we can help. You can also raise a concern with Kenya’s Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our website or information-handling arrangements change. The date above shows when this version was prepared.
